Back to (ab)normal, and loving it

Sonu’s back! It’s been so long. Mala and Sonu’s elder cousin, Ravi, has been very unwell for several weeks. He was their guardian when their parents died, brought them up — and was an early lover to both. For their sake, he never married, never had a family. He’s had a lady friend for many years now, and they’re happy together. The girls are, quite naturally, very fond of him, but their relationship is different now. Neither sleeps with him, though they often speak openly about it, even to Nishi, his friend. She knows of their history and it doesn’t seem to bother her. She’s very close to both Mala and Sonu, perhaps Sonu a bit more. The girls tease and bully him mercilessly and he’s putty in their hands, but apparently happy to be so.
